Sponsoring Let's Glow to Prom!

It’s a rite of passage for teens all over. But for kids battling cancer in the hospital, going to prom is not possible. That’s why University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s, Cleveland Clinic Children’s and Akron Children’s hospitals along with Dunkin’ Joy’s Childhood Foundation teamed up to host the ‘Lets Glow’ prom for teen cancer patients and survivors who couldn’t make it to their high school prom. This year’s party was filled with fun activities like visits from local mascots and hospital facility dogs plus a photo booth, live music from Burning River DJ, and of course delicious food and dessert. Cancer patients who attend this prom say it gives them an opportunity to forget about their health issues.
